● The online exam for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026 will be conducted from June 1 to June 15, 2026.
● Depending on the category of application, students will have to solve 50% of the questions in 1 hour or 100 questions in 2 hours.

Educational Qualification
● Agniveer General Duty (GD): Candidate must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks and minimum 33% marks in each subject. For Indian Gorkha candidates, only 10th pass is required. Those with Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license will be given preference for driver.
● Agniveer Technical: Candidate must have passed 12th standard in Science stream from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and English subjects with minimum 50% marks or must have ITI with minimum 50% marks.
● Agniveer (Clerk/Storekeeper Technical): Candidate must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum 60% marks and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Candidate must have minimum 50% marks in English and Mathematics/Accounts/Bookkeeping in 12th standard.
● Agniveer Tradesman: For the post of Agniveer Tradesman, the candidate must have passed 8th or 10th class from a recognized board with minimum 33% marks.
● Soldier Technical: The candidate must have passed 12th class in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English with minimum 50% marks and minimum 40% marks in each subject.

Salary
● The salary of Army Agniveer personnel starts at ₹30,000 per month in the first year and increases annually to ₹40,000 by the fourth year, from which 30% is deducted for the Agniveer Fund. This excludes allowances such as risk allowance, hardship allowance, and ration allowance, but their basic pay ranges from ₹21,000 to ₹28,000 per month. Upon completion of four years, they receive a tax-free service fund package of approximately ₹11.71 lakh.
