| 1. Visiting each consumer’s home to record the meter unit reading. 2. Entering the readings into a mobile app or handheld device. 3. Checking the meter’s condition and reporting any tampering. 4. Occasionally printing and providing bills to consumers on the spot. 5. Taking a picture of the digital reader to ensure proof of the reading. 6. Reporting illegal connections or electricity theft to the relevant authorities. |
